Terms
Last updated 7 August 2026
This is the agreement between you and A2 Squared, LLC, 533 East Girard Avenue, STE 27075, Philadelphia, PA 19125, who make summertime. Using summertime means you accept it. It is written to be read, not to be got past.
The one that matters most
summertime acts as you. It works inside your own accounts, using your own logins, and anything it does there is done in your name and counts as your doing. Watch what it is doing, and do not point it at anything where a mistake would be expensive. It asks before anything it judges to be serious, but judgement is not a guarantee.
Your account
You need an account, you must be at least 13, and the details you give must be true. Keep your sign in to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else to.
- Get into accounts, systems or data you have no right to.
- Send spam, scrape at scale, or work around another service's rules or rate limits.
- Resell summertime, or run it as a service for other people, without our agreement.
- Try to pull apart, copy or work around how summertime is built.
- Use it to make things that harass, deceive or impersonate.
The websites summertime works on have their own rules, and those still apply to you. We can suspend an account that is being used this way.
Plans and paying
- Plans are monthly or yearly, and renew on their own until you cancel.
- Plus starts with seven days free. A card is needed to start it. If you cancel before the seventh day, you are not charged.
- Prices are in US dollars, before any tax.
- Cancel any time from Billing in the app. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period you paid for.
- We do not refund part periods, except where the law says we must. If something went genuinely wrong, write to us; we would rather sort it out than argue about it.
- If a payment fails we may pause the account until it is settled.
- We can change prices with at least 30 days notice by email. The new price starts at your next renewal.
How much you can use
Every plan includes an amount of assistant usage, measured by what the underlying AI actually costs to run your tasks, and shown to you in the app. When it runs out, tasks stop until the next period or until you move up a plan. We will tell you before you get there, not after.
Your other accounts
summertime signs into services you already use. Those are between you and them, under their terms. We are not responsible for what they do, what they charge, or what they change. Bringing your Chrome logins across is your choice and needs your Mac password.
What is ours
summertime, its name and how it is built stay ours. What you write and what summertime produces for you is yours. We claim no ownership of your work.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will try to keep summertime running and working well. We cannot promise it will always be available, always be right, or always finish what it starts. AI makes mistakes, and websites change under it. summertime is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, so far as the law allows. Check anything that matters.
If something goes wrong
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for lost data. Where we are liable, that liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it happened. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.
If your use of summertime causes a claim against us, from breaking these terms or the law or someone else's rights, you agree to cover us for it.
Ending it
You can stop any time by cancelling and deleting the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. If we close your account and you have not broken anything, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and for anything significant we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using summertime after that means you accept the new version.
Which law
The law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania applies, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes belong to the courts of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
